Multiple Revenue Streams are Good for Artists

Creating various revenue streams can be very good for artists. But knowing where to begin is a key factor. As artists are making their mark online by promoting their art, many have decided to take their expertise and images of their artwork and incorporating them into merchandise, ebooks, or consultation. But where to begin?

The most important thing an artist would need to do is to begin small and review the different avenues he or she can take to create revenue from their art. No matter where you begin the first thing would be to have a website. Your webiste is your platform and your staging area to begin incorporating new ideas in creating revenue. Creating an ebook would require you to spned time organizing notes, stories, techniques, images and guides together which you feel will benefit other artists.

Artists are also utilizing websites like Imagekind.com as a way to create prints of their work and to even build an online shop page for their visitors. Images of artwork can now be printed on almost anything from t-shirts, mugs, mouse pads and even phone cases.

Stay dedicated to your line of revenue and never incorporate mutiple ones until you feel you are ready to start a new one. Each line of revenue is unique and each requires particuler attention and management.
When incorporating a line of revenue you need to know how to promote yourself online and branding your name out there is key. Each line of revenue is your way of cross promoting yourself. Linking various lines in articles and in blogs are great ways in driving traffic to your site. So take that in mind when you start your online venture with Artistneed. Your GDI website is a platform for you to generate income by helping others do the same. You will find new ways to incorporate new lines of revenue to your new venture. Spend some time brainstorming with your Team Sponsor and see where it can take you.

Expanding as an Artist

I had a conversation with a young artist who expressed his feelings that he will not make a good living as an artist. I told him that he was right. He looked at me with confusion. I explained to him that if you believe that, then it will be true. If failure is the end result you are looking for in your future, then that is what you are destined to become.  We then discussed about the many ways an artist can integrate his or her talents to any profession they desire. All that matters is that you believe in yourself and establish the goals you want to accomplish.

I also began to think how important we artists are to the world. How we create what we see, how we think, how we feel, how we communicate and how we love. A world with no art is like a voice with no meaning. Before I joined with GDI I wanted to find a way to give artists the opportunity to link with each other. To develop new ideas through GDI and help share success with each other. I believed that they should not be left out of all the great opportunities we can achieve.

Young artists should not live with a pessimistic presentation of themselves. They need to understand that there are various roads to follow. New ways of integrating their skills to new career opportunities or at least expand them.

Below are some fields where you can integrate with:
  • art business consultant
  • art gallery owner
  • art supply business
  • art curator for museums or art galleries
  • art teacher
  • public art director for municipalities
  • art website webmaster
  • marketer for artists
  • art consultant for various industries

Artistneed, GDI and the Artist

The integration between Artistneed and GDI came about through the idea that Artists are always looking to collaborate with each other. Artists network and share their ideas to help spread their work to the community. I have mentioned that the goal of Artistneed is to provide resources, guides and opportunities for artists to use to help them create financial stability through the internet using the GDI System. But how? What can you do with your site? What does Artistneed do to help?

When you join GDI and become an Artistneed Team Member you become a key component to building a community of artists helping artists. You are given the tools and resources to build a site to help others who will also benefit from it. You will learn from an Artistneed Team Sponsor who will help you with any questions and who will collaborate with you, advertise with you and earn with you so that you are prepared to help other artists as well. It is time for artists to take advantage of the opportunities that will become a big part of their careers.

Your new website is your plot of land to start your new online venture as an Artistneed Team Member or your own personal online business. There is a key component to making this venture work for you. It is one important “need” for having any website and that is “traffic”. Traffic is the key to being successful in any online venture. With your new website you have a product (GDI) a resource (Artistneed.com) and guidance (your sponsor). But how do you build traffic with Artistneed? Its simple, its called linking. Every thing on the internet is linked to something, that’s how traffic flows. If you are not linking then you are not going anywhere.

When you become a GDI Artistneed Team Member you need to take advantage of your site builder, your word press blog, your social networking sight, your article marketing and so forth and make sure that you are linking them together and to one another. And be sure to link with Artistneed as well, why? Because your website is placed on our link rotator that way when visitors sign up it will be on your landing page. Now, picture hundreds of artists doing the same all linking to each other driving traffic to their website, helping others and gaining residual income from the GDI Affiliate program.

The GDI program is a simple program to follow and many individuals are utilizing this product to help build their new online venture. Be sure to check out Artisneed.com or if you are ready to be part of the team you can go to the Join now menu at the top. Best to you all!

How Artists can Help Other Artists

If you are an artist, you have at least gotten involved with some or more collaborations with another artist.  Whether it is a project or for a show, you brainstormed ideas, techniques and created some awesome work. Today artists are now becoming very independent now with the use of the internet.  And collaborations are now taking place online through social media and networking. The truth is that artists still need each other in order to keep their careers active and creative.  There are various ways to help other artists today with the use of the internet.

Majority of artists today operate and own their own personal artist website.  One way in which artists can expand from that is to help other artists build them and linking to them. Artists are now taking up new avenues in helping artists build websites that can help service other artists.  This is where artists can expand their entrepreneurship by offering counseling services, professional development and or training.  Starting an online business with other creative minds can really help grow your career as an artist while adding more experience.

A product, a business plan, online marketing and site optimization are very important key areas for building your site. Finding your niche in the art world is important but you need to start simple. For example if you’re a sculpture your main focus would obviously be to provide sculptors with needs or services. Like an eBook or new sculpting tools or even online video seminars.  When you first start simple you will later on in the future begin to expand your business to different fields of concentration. The most important thing is to have information and resources that you feel are useful and beneficial to others in your field.
No matter what you do. The most important part of running any business online, is marketing. It takes time to really drive traffic to your site. The main goal is to substantially create residual income from your business so that little work is needed. With the right resources and information and a structured plan, your website will become useful to other artists. Using social networking sites, blogging,  artist forums and article marketing are good ways in marketing your website. One of the best ways to start an online business is working with other artists and building a team. When you have others involved you have more people sharing ideas and  helping you market your business.

Creating an artists website that will benefit other artists takes time. It may even take a lot of planning and research for it to take motion. But sharing your ideas with other fellow artists and building a team will help you structure your online business on the right tract. Be sure to visit Artistneed.com for information on how you can start your online business.

Is GDI Really worth it? Then why the Negativity?

When I integrated the GDI opportunity with Artistneed. I was already aware of what was being said about it. I have been to their forums and have actually spoken to a few actual GDI affiliates who are utilizing the income opportunity. The majority of them have claimed that they do get some negative feed back from some leads.  If you go online and Google anything about GDI you are sure to find some pages talking about how it is a scam and how they did not get the “income” they were promised. Well, there are a few things that may make this company look as if it’s a scam. One reason would be how GDI offers its product. The second would be the inexperienced individuals who signed up and quit. The third reason would be the number of actual affiliates and how they promote the GDI program.

GDI offers a unique package for the $10 price some may say that it is too expensive and would rather host elsewhere. And I agree, but what really peeked my interest is how you use the affiliate program. GDI offers you some really tacky replicated pages that simply tend to scream “scam” or “get rich quick”.  The templates and marketing materials are made to promote the GDI brand itself.
As for the individuals who sign up, the majority of them have mentioned that they were not able to make money or found it to be to difficult too sell. Thus they begin voicing their frustration by labeling it as a scam. Lets get this straight, if you came in believing that you will make an incredible amount of money within a few weeks then you are destined to fail. No matter what work you do it will always involve “actual work”. It will also involve “creativity” and “planning”.  Just like any other job. Multi-Level Marketing takes work! And with hard work you will gain the benefits from it.

Some affiliates are successful using GDI, but many of them tend to sign up many individuals as quickly as possible to achieve the bonuses with no consideration to even helping others. They have no concept in “Team Building” or providing resources and guides to help them start their online venture. Instead they try to sell you a bunch of products. Becoming a Team means working together and finding new ways to help make the team stronger.

Artistneed’s goal is to incorporate new ideas for creative individuals, like artists, to build a community to helping others with Global Domains International.  We focus on collaborating with new prospects who wish to join and will gladly work with them. GDI is worth it for its price and what they offer only if you know how to integrate it well within your online business. I do not see GDI as a scam or as a pyramid scheme. But I do see how it can be focusing to others. When I became a GDI member, I discovered that you don’t need to purchase many products to help you. Be sure to do your research before signing up to any program. You can also contact me with any questions about it.
